Idoly Pride game to close on March 1, with offline version planned

Idoly Pride will end its online service on March 1 and receive an update adding an offline version. The mobile game debuted in June 2021.
The Idoly Pride multimedia project's official Twitter account announced the plans on Friday. The game, originally released for iOS and Android devices in June 2021, will receive its offline version through an update as service ends on March 1.
Hiroki Haruse's manga Idoly Pride: Stage of Asterism concluded with its third volume in January 2022. Haruse began publishing the series in Comic Newtype in June 2020.
The Idoly Pride anime aired on Tokyo MX and other channels from January through March 2021. Funimation streamed it during its Japanese broadcast.
The anime marked the first project from CAAnimation, a label CyberAgent established in October 2018. CyberAgent is the parent company of game developer Cygames and streaming service company AbemaTV.
CyberAgent subsidiary QualiArts collaborated with Straight Edge and Music Ray'n on the multimedia project. QP:flapper, whose credits include Girlish Number and Girl Friend BETA, supplied the original character designs.
The original concept is credited to Yoshiki MIZUSUMI of QualiArts, whose name romanization has not been confirmed; Kaoru Adachi of Straight Edge, a producer on Love Live! School idol project; and Jukki Hanada of SATZ, whose script credits include Love Live! School idol project and Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions!. Music Ray'n and QualiArts are credited with the music.
