Mari Okada and Makoto Ojiro's Sistar Resistar manga will end in two chapters. The finale is set for November 23 in Big Comic Spirits, if there are no delays.
Monday's announcement in this year's Big Comic Spirits issue 49 confirmed Sistar Resistar has two chapters left. The next runs in issue 51 on November 16; the finale follows on November 23 if there are no delays.
The manga follows Akira Nitta, the Nitta family's eldest daughter. Her family once ran an entire idol business, with each member taking a role:
- Akira sewed the clothes.
- Her father worked the lights.
- Her younger brother played the music.
- Her younger sister sang and danced as the idol.
Akira hoped those idyllic days would last forever, but a series of unfortunate events ended the family's dream. Her life starts turning again when she sees footage of an idol performance at work.
