English publisher Seven Seas describes a slice-of-life story about Mizunoe Ume, who joins the student council to avoid repeating a grade. He expects an easy solution to his academic troubles, only to meet a council full of eccentric members.
Among them are an airhead, someone frightening, and a secret pervert. Despite their odd behavior, Ume finds them cute and endearing, leaving him caught in their chaos. The publisher presents the manga as charming, quirky, and a little naughty.
Muchimaro began the series in Kodansha’s Weekly Shōnen Magazine in 2022. Kodansha released its 13th collected volume on August 17.
Seven Seas released the first English volume on September 8 and will publish the second on December 8. K MANGA also carries the series digitally in English.
The manga won the print category at the ninth Next Manga Awards (Tsugi ni Kuru Manga Taishō) in 2023. An animated advertisement followed in July 2024.
