Ninja Skooler Shares Pilot Film, Still Images, and Theme Song
Shunsuke Takarai directs the original Kinema Citrus ninja anime; Takashi Iwami's "Knots" is out digitally.

Makoto Kimura's BLUE RIGHTS unveiled a pilot film and images for Ninja Skooler on Friday. The anime planning company also digitally released the featured song "Knots."
Takashi Iwami wrote and performed the track. Shunsuke Takarai is directing and supervising the light-hearted original anime, with character designs by Hami.
The story follows Rappa, an orphan who idolizes fictional ninja. One snowy night he falls from a rooftop and is saved by a real ninja named Okachimachi and his master.
Rappa asks to become their apprentice, and the three begin living together as a family. Years later, he trains hard to become a ninja who can protect the town.
Children who look up to him gather at the master's traditional Japanese candy shop. There Rappa laughs with family and friends and thinks those days will last forever.
Then he sees Okachimachi tending to their retired master and glimpses the pain the master has kept hidden.
The anime is based on a concept by Kinema Citrus. The staff also includes:
