Viz Media publishes Tatsuya Endō's original, ongoing manga in English. Its description follows master spy Twilight, the best at undercover work on dangerous missions for a better world.
His seemingly impossible next assignment is to get married and have a child so he can infiltrate an elite private school. Accustomed to relying on himself, Twilight struggles to find both. He does not know his chosen wife is an assassin or his adopted child is a telepath.
Endō launched the manga on Shonen Jump+ in March 2019. Shueisha published its 18th compiled volume on November 4. The publisher simultaneously releases the manga in English on MANGA Plus.
Viz Media added the manga to its app through its Shonen Jump subscription in September 2019. The company also publishes it in print.
The first SPY×FAMILY stage musical ran from March to May 2023. The second stage musical ran from September to December 2025. The Nagoya run of the first musical streamed outside Japan with English subtitles on July 6.
The sequel, SPY×FAMILY 2: Doggy Bomb Arc & Luxury Cruise Ship Arc (SPY×FAMILY 2: Bakudan Inu-hen & Gōka Kyakusen-hen), adapts the respective manga arcs. Its five tour stops are:
- Tokyo Tatemono Brilllia Hall: ran from September 22 to October 29.
- Hakataza Theater, Fukuoka: running in November.
- Hyogo Performing Arts Center KOBELCO Main Hall: will run in December.
