Ani-One Asia has licensed the second cours of Chitose Is in the Ramune Bottle, due in October. It also released an English-subtitled trailer.

Ani-One Asia announced Wednesday that it has licensed the second cours, or quarter-year installment, of Chitose Is in the Ramune Bottle (Chitose-kun wa Ramune Bin no Naka). The television anime’s second half will premiere in October.

The anime adapts Hiromu and raemz’s light novel series. Ani-One Asia also released an English-subtitled trailer and previously streamed the first half alongside its Japanese broadcast.

The first cours premiered in October 2025. Production circumstances delayed episode six from November 11 to December 2. The subsequent broadcast schedule was:

  • Episode seven: December 7.
  • Episode eight: December 16.
  • Episode nine: December 23.
  • Episode 10: December 30.

On December 30, the staff announced that episodes 11–13 would air and stream in spring. Those episodes aired on March 30 and 31.

The anime’s staff includes:

  • Director Yūji Tokuno (Kiratto Pri☆Chan, Pretty Boy Detective Club), working at feel.
  • Series script supervisor Naruhisa Arakawa (Kingdom, Elemental Gelade), who co-writes the scripts with original author Hiromu.
  • Character designer Sumie Kinoshita (Forest of Piano, Idoly Pride).
  • Music composer Yoshiaki Fujisawa.

The staff’s synopsis follows Chitose Saku, a student at Fujishi High School, the prefecture’s top preparatory school. He excels in academics, athletics and communication, drawing attention both positive and negative. Everyone envies him, and his friends are also highly popular.

In spring, as he enters a new class in his second year, Saku receives a request to persuade a withdrawn student to return to school. The emotional coming-of-age story takes place in Fukui Prefecture.

Hiromu and raemz launched the light novels in June 2019. Volume 9.5 shipped in October 2025. Yen Press releases both the novels and manga in North America, while Manga UP! Global digitally publishes the manga in English.

Bobcat began the manga adaptation on Square Enix’s Manga UP! website in April 2020. Square Enix released its eighth and final collected volume in March 2025.
