Pop Pap Polters released a full trailer and key visual, revealing its cast, more staff, and October 4 debut. The miniature stop-motion shorts will air in TV Asahi’s “PicoAniTime” block.

The official Pop Pap Polters website released a full trailer and key visual on Thursday. The trailer revealed the cast, additional staff, and October 4 premiere for director Mozu and MOZU STUDIOS’ miniature stop-motion anime shorts.

The series premieres in TV Asahi’s “PicoAniTime” programming block on October 4 at 10:00 a.m., or October 3 at 9:00 p.m. EDT.

Atsumi Tanezaki voices all three ghost siblings: Pop, the youngest; Pap; and Polter, the oldest. Junya Enoki voices the human homeowner, whose live-action performer is Mozu.

The production’s staff includes:

  • Mozu: director, miniature creator, and co-writer with Yuuka.
  • Yuuka: co-writer, art director, and character designer.
  • Hiroshi Yoshii: 3D character modeling for the ghosts. The mascot character designer’s credits include 3D CG ghost production for Ghost Hunt’s ending sequence and character design for Yans! Gans!
  • Yūta Negishi: photography.
  • Noriyoshi Konuma: sound direction.
  • Scat Gotō: music.

As announced earlier, MOZU STUDIOS receives credit for the original work and animation production. Shin-Ei Animation handles planning and production.

Using miniatures and stop-motion animation, the shorts follow the busy daily lives of three ghost siblings who share a room in a human homeowner’s home.
