Love Is the Sweetest Journey follows Suzune, whose boyfriend of three years leaves her just before she turns 30. He also confesses that he cheated throughout their relationship.
Angry and depressed, Suzune travels to Miyazaki Prefecture for a fresh start while recording videos for her travel-focused social channel. She meets Yuujin, a mysterious young novelist facing writer’s block.
After they spend a drunken night together, Yuujin sees Suzune as a possible source of inspiration and unexpectedly asks her to travel with him. Omoi describes a sweet romantic travelogue about exploring new places together, featuring actual locations across Japan.
Momoshiro wrote the story, and Mitsuki illustrated it. They began the manga on Bungeishunju’s Seasons manga website in 2023 and concluded it on February 20. Bungeishunju released the sixth and final collected volume on April 16.
Omoi launched under the name Azuki in June 2021, offering English manga worldwide outside Japan through iOS, Android, and web browsers. Its library includes simulpub chapters released shortly after their Japanese debuts, alongside other titles.
Kodansha USA became the service’s first partner, with titles from its catalog available at launch. In January 2023, Kodansha stopped distributing simulpub manga through the service and other platforms.
Azuki adopted the Omoi name in November 2025.
