Seven Seas publishes the manga in English. Its synopsis follows Mizunoe Ume, who joins the student council hoping for an easy solution to his academic troubles and to avoid repeating a grade.
His fellow members turn that plan into a chaotic school year. One is scatterbrained, another intimidating, and another secretly perverted. Despite their eccentricities, Mizunoe finds them strangely cute and endearing, leaving him caught up in their antics.
The publisher presents the story as a charming, quirky slice-of-life manga with a mildly naughty streak.
Muchimaro began the manga in Kodansha’s Weekly Shōnen Magazine in 2022. Kodansha released the 12th collected volume on March 17. Seven Seas will release the first English volume on September 8, while K MANGA also publishes the series digitally in English.
The manga won the print category at the ninth Next Manga Awards (Tsugi ni Kuru Manga Taishō) in 2023. An animated advertisement followed in July 2024.
