Seven Seas releases the manga in English. Its description presents the award-winning series as a comedic Cinderella retelling that overturns familiar fairy-tale conventions.
Miya, the illegitimate daughter of a prominent family, loses her mother and is accepted into her father's household. She expects her stepmother and stepsisters to force her into a miserable life of servitude.
Instead, the women she fears will mistreat her turn out to be kind. Seven Seas describes the resulting comedy as funny, heartfelt, and intended to leave readers smiling.
The manga began in Ichijinsha's digital manga magazine Comic POOL in November 2020. Ichijinsha will release its 10th collected volume on August 25. Seven Seas released the eighth English volume on June 23.
