Konami released a trailer on Monday revealing the English voice cast for Castlevania: Belmont's Curse, a new entry in its Castlevania game series.

The cast includes:

  • Alejandra Reynoso as Sypha Belnades, returning from the Castlevania animated series
  • Graham McTavish as Dracula, returning from the Castlevania animated series

The game launches October 15 on these platforms:

  • PlayStation 5

According to Konami's description, the story takes place in 15th-century Paris, more than two decades after Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse and the recent animated show. A new, bloody chapter awaits the legendary House Belmont.

The protagonist, Trevor Belmont's successor, carries the legendary holy whip Vampire Killer into a city under attack by monstrous creatures, with a mystical castle looming nearby. Their mission is to hunt the beasts and save Parisians from eternal darkness.

Both longtime fans and newcomers must learn to use different weapons and spells against enemies. Exploration rewards players willing to brave every corner of the sinister castle.

This marks the franchise's first entirely new game since 2014's Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2.

Konami released Castlevania Dominus Collection in August 2024 for the following platforms:

  • Nintendo Switch
  • PlayStation 5
  • Xbox Series X|S
  • PC via Steam

The collection contains three Nintendo DS entries, alongside the first original Castlevania arcade game and its reimagining:

  • Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow — Nintendo DS
  • Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin — Nintendo DS
  • Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia — Nintendo DS
  • Haunted Castle — the original arcade game
  • Haunted Castle Revisited — a reimagining of Haunted Castle

Castlevania: Nocturne debuted in September 2023 as a spinoff of Frederator Studios' Castlevania animated show. It stars Richter Belmont, a descendant of the original show's protagonists Sypha and Trevor, alongside Maria Renard.

Set in France in 1792 during the French Revolution, Nocturne tells Richter's origin story. Its second season debuted in January 2025.

Evil Empire and Motion Twin, the sister developers behind the sidescrolling roguelike Dead Cells, are developing Belmont's Curse. Evil Empire leads development, while Motion Twin serves as an advisory game studio.
