Minari Endo announced on X, formerly Twitter, on Tuesday that her Maria Holic sequel manga will launch in Kadokawa's Monthly Comic Alive on August 27.
Titled Maria Holic: A Story Set 12 Months After (Maria Holic: Sono Ato no 12-kagetsu no Ohanashi), it takes place one year after the original series.
Endo began Maria Holic in the inaugural issue of Media Factory's Monthly Comic Alive in 2006. The manga ended in November 2014.
Tokyopop published the manga's early volumes in North America, and One Peace Books is rereleasing the series. It inspired two television anime in 2009 and 2011. Sentai Filmworks licensed both.
Endo's Dazzle (Hatenkō Yūgi) manga ran from 1999 to 2022. Ichijinsha released its 24th and final compiled volume in September 2022. Tokyopop published the original manga in English.
A 10-episode anime adaptation aired in Japan in 2008, with the following staff:

- Yasuhiro Imagawa handled series composition.
- Norikatsu Nakano designed the characters.
Sentai Filmworks released the anime as a complete DVD collection in July 2016.
Endo also launched Uchūjin no Shiwaza Desu! in December 2015 and concluded it in December 2017. Kadokawa released its third compiled volume in January 2018.
