CAPCOM showed Mega Man: Dual Override gameplay and introduced Robot Master Twinkle Girl at gamescom Opening Night Live. The trailer also revealed a Mega Man and Roll-themed skin for Pragmata.

CAPCOM released a new trailer for Mega Man: Dual Override during this year's gamescom Opening Night Live on Tuesday. It introduced newcomer Twinkle Girl and returning character Protoman, alongside gameplay footage.

Twinkle Girl is a Robot Master designated DWN-089, with DWN standing for Dr. Wily Number.

The trailer also revealed a skin for Hugh and Diana in CAPCOM's Pragmata, themed after Mega Man and Roll. The skin is due in 2026.

Mega Man: Dual Override, a new entry in CAPCOM's Mega Man series, will launch in 2027 on:

  • PlayStation 4
  • PlayStation 5
  • Nintendo Switch
  • Nintendo Switch 2
  • Xbox Series X|S
  • PC via Steam

In March, the Screen Actors Guild–American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA) ordered members to withhold services from the game. The union said the producer had not begun the signatory process.

Voice actor Ben Diskin announced on Bluesky that he would no longer voice Mega Man. He said the offer to return for the new game required him to work without union contract protections.

CAPCOM recently released Mega Man Star Force Legacy Collection on March 27. It brings together seven Mega Man Star Force (Ryūsei no Rockman, or Rockman of the Shooting Star) games and is available on:

  • Nintendo Switch
  • PlayStation 5
  • PlayStation 4
  • Xbox Series X|S
  • Xbox One
  • PC via Steam
