Kodansha USA Publishing releases Bless in English. Its synopsis follows Aia, whom others considered destined to become a model, and Jun, who faced bullying over her freckles.
Together, they reclaim the right to define themselves. The inspirational fashion manga questions the meaning of beauty and what overcoming an arbitrary system that appears to value talent above hard work requires.
Sonoyama launched the manga in Kodansha’s Shōnen Magazine Edge in 2022. It now runs in Monthly Shonen Sirius and has more than 1.25 million copies in circulation.
Kodansha will release the ninth volume on October 8. Kodansha USA Publishing released the seventh English volume on February 10.
Kodansha also publishes the manga digitally through its K MANGA service.
