English publisher Seven Seas describes the manga as an award-winning, comedic retelling of Cinderella that upends familiar fairy-tale conventions.
Miya, the illegitimate daughter of a prominent family, loses her mother and is accepted into her father's estate. She expects her stepmother and stepsisters to condemn her to miserable servitude and treat her cruelly.
Instead, the women she feared turn out to be kind. Seven Seas presents the story as a funny, heartfelt comedy intended to leave readers smiling.
The manga began in Ichijinsha's digital manga magazine Comic POOL in November 2020. Ichijinsha released its 10th collected volume on August 25, while Seven Seas published the eighth English volume on June 23.
