The US$399.99 limited edition arrives November 24 with 16 discs, a Pokéball-shaped container and a mini art booklet.
Viz Media will release a limited edition Blu-ray collection of all 24 Pokémon movies exclusively through Amazon on November 24. U.S. pre-orders are open.
Viz Media announced Tuesday on X, formerly Twitter, that a limited edition Blu-ray collection of all 24 Pokémon movies will arrive November 24. Amazon will sell the 16-disc set exclusively, with pre-orders now open in the United States.
The US$399.99 collection comes in a special Pokéball-shaped container and includes a mini art booklet featuring images from the films.
Amazon lists Japanese as the release’s language, although no Pokémon movie has received a Japanese-language release in the U.S. The listing also names Veronica Taylor, Ash Ketchum’s original English voice actor, as a contributor and uses dub names including Ash and Pokémon: The First Movie.
The franchise’s 24 movies released to date include two versions apiece of Mewtwo Strikes Back and the Victini films.
On Monday, The Pokémon Company announced Pokémon: Wild Card, an all-new anime film scheduled to open in 2027. CloverWorks is animating it.
Counting the Victini films as one, Wild Card is the franchise’s 24th anime film. It is the first since Pokémon the Movie: Secrets of the Jungle (Gekijōban Pocket Monster Koko).
Secrets of the Jungle opened in Japan in December 2020. Netflix began streaming it in October 2021.
