Konami unveiled the “Bloody Tears” trailer for Castlevania: Belmont's Curse during Thursday's Konami Press Start livestream. The game launches October 15 across consoles and PC, with Xbox Cloud support.

Konami revealed a new trailer for Castlevania: Belmont's Curse during its Konami Press Start livestream on Thursday. Called “Bloody Tears,” the trailer takes its name from the series' iconic musical track.

The new Castlevania game launches October 15 on:

  • PlayStation 5
  • Xbox Series X|S
  • Xbox Cloud
  • Xbox PC
  • Nintendo Switch
  • PC via Steam

The voice cast includes:

  • Abby Trott as Rose Belmont
  • J.B. Blanc as Trevor Belmont
  • Alejandra Reynoso as Sypha Belnades, returning from the Castlevania animated series
  • Graham McTavish as Dracula, returning from the Castlevania animated series
  • Ray Chase as The Fallen
  • Erica Lindbeck as Joan of Arc
  • Melique Berger as Medusa
  • Liam O'Brien as Isaac, returning from Castlevania: Curse of Darkness
  • Dawn M. Bennett as Carmilla
  • Aaron LaPlante as Death

Konami places the story in 15th-century Paris, more than two decades after Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse and the recent animated show. The game opens another bloody chapter for House Belmont.

Trevor Belmont's successor serves as the protagonist and wields the legendary holy whip, Vampire Killer. With monstrous creatures attacking Paris and a mystical castle looming, the hero must hunt the beasts and save Parisians from eternal darkness.

Veteran fans and newcomers must master a range of weapons and spells to fight their enemies. Exploration rewards players willing to search every corner of the sinister castle.

Belmont's Curse marks the franchise's first entirely new game since 2014's Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2.

Konami released Castlevania Dominus Collection in August 2024 for Switch, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC through Steam. It contains three Nintendo DS entries:

  • Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow
  • Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin
  • Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia

The collection also includes Haunted Castle, the first original Castlevania arcade game, and its reimagining, Haunted Castle Revisited.

Castlevania: Nocturne debuted in September 2023 as a spinoff of Frederator Studios' Castlevania animated show. It stars Richter Belmont, a descendant of original-series protagonists Sypha and Trevor, alongside Maria Renard.

Set in France during the French Revolution in 1792, Nocturne tells Richter's origin story. Its second season premiered in January 2025.

Evil Empire and Motion Twin, the sister developers behind the sidescrolling roguelike Dead Cells, are developing Belmont's Curse. Evil Empire serves as the main studio, with Motion Twin advising.
