Crocodile follows a man freed after serving 10 years for murder whose plans for a quiet life change when his victim’s wife asks him to protect her son.

Kakao Entertainment announced Friday that Crocodile, an action noir webtoon from MEEN and Hellbound artist Kyoo-seok Choi, will debut September 5 on Kakao Page.

The project is the creators’ first collaboration. Set in Busan, it follows In-hoo Jung after his release from prison, where he served 10 years for murder.

In-hoo wants a quiet life, but his victim’s wife asks him to protect her son, drawing him into the dead man’s family.

As In-hoo faces his former victim’s family, Crocodile examines revenge, redemption, and life’s meaning. It blends action, a gritty noir atmosphere, and detailed storytelling driven by its characters.

MEEN’s action noir works include:

  • Tong
  • Blood Rain
  • The Dokgo series

MEEN’s Crime Puzzle and Price of Violence are both available on Tapas.

Choi co-created Hellbound with director Sang-ho Yeon. Readers can find the webtoon on WEBTOON.
