My Girlfriend's Friend Anime Adds Two Cast Members, Sets October 4 Premiere
Airots and Ceui will perform the theme songs, while AnimeFesta will stream both the broadcast and “Complete Deregula” versions.
My Girlfriend's Friend premieres on Tokyo MX on October 4, with BS11 and AnimeFesta releases to follow. Riho Sugiyama joins as Miyuki, and Ryōka Yuzuki voices Kaori's mother.
The official website for the television anime of Jura's My Girlfriend's Friend (Kanojo no Tomodachi) announced additional cast members and an October 4 premiere on Friday. It also released the main promotional video.
Riho Sugiyama will voice Miyuki, while Ryōka Yuzuki will play Kaori's mother.
The website also announced the theme songs. Airots performs the opening, “Gingira,” and Ceui performs the ending, “False Love.” The promotional video previews the opening song.
Both the promotional video and a newly released visual contain material that is not safe for work.
The release schedule is:
- Tokyo MX: October 4 at 25:05, effectively October 5 at 1:05 a.m.
- BS11: October 7.
- AnimeFesta: the “Complete Deregula” version begins streaming October 5 at 1:05 a.m.
AnimeFesta and other services will also stream the broadcast version.

The story centers on high school student Takeru. Kaori becomes his first girlfriend after confessing her feelings, but her friend Tomoko starts seducing him, using her voluptuous figure to tempt him.
Jura launched the manga on Kodansha's YanMaga Web in May 2021. Kodansha released its seventh collected volume on July 16.
Deregula, WWWave Corporation's anime label, is producing the adaptation.
