The Marshal King resumed Friday on Shonen Jump+ with chapter 28 after going on hiatus in December. Its next chapter arrives September 11.

Boichi’s The Marshal King returned to Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ service on Friday with chapter 28. The manga had been on hiatus since December.

Shueisha will publish the next chapter on September 11. Viz Media and Shueisha’s MANGA Plus service both release the manga in English.

Viz describes a fist-fighting adventure about desperadoes and the marshals pursuing them in the American Wild West. The story presents the setting through Boichi’s imagination, highlighting his illustration work on Dr. Stone and One Piece: Ace’s Story.

Boichi launched The Marshal King on Shonen Jump+ in February 2025. Shueisha released its third volume in Japan in November 2025.

Dr. Stone’s anime adaptation spans four seasons:

  • Season one debuted in July 2019.
  • The second season, Dr. Stone: Stone Wars, premiered in January 2021.
  • Season three, Dr. Stone: New World, debuted in Japan with its first cours in April 2023. Its second cours followed in October 2023.
  • The fourth and final season, Dr. Stone: Science Future, began its first cours in January 2025. Its second debuted in July 2025, and its third and final cours premiered on April 2.

Each cours represents a quarter of a year.

Boichi, also known for Sun-Ken Rock, created Dr. Stone with Eyeshield 21 author Riichirou Inagaki. The 26-volume manga ran in Weekly Shonen Jump from March 2017 to March 2022.

Viz Media published Dr. Stone digitally and in print. MANGA Plus also released the manga digitally in English.
