Manga UP! Global Expands Catalog With Three Fantasy Manga
The additions feature a princess commanding knights, a girl offered to a vampire, and an alchemist building a new guild.
Manga UP! Global added Dragon and Flower on Saturday, I Was Sacrificed to a Vampire, But He Spoils Me Instead! on Monday, and Wildcard Alchemist on Wednesday.
Manga UP! Global added three fantasy manga to its English catalog across Saturday, Monday, and Wednesday:
- Saturday: Mio Watanabe’s Dragon and Flower: The Timid Princess and the Ice Sword's Loyalty (Ryū to Hana: Yowamushi-hime ni Hyōken no Chūsei).
- Monday: Author Aira Yao and artist Asana Haine’s I Was Sacrificed to a Vampire, But He Spoils Me Instead! (Watashi wa Ikenie no Hazu Desu ga).
- Wednesday: Author Skyfarm and artist Tentashi’s Wildcard Alchemist: Building the Ultimate Guild With a Divine Fluffy Beast and Random Alchemy Skill (Guild wo Tsuihо̄ Sareta kedo Mofumofu Shinjū ni Sazukatta Kami Skill [Random Renkin] de Saikyо̄ no Guild wo Tsukutte Musо̄shimasu).
In Manga UP! Global’s synopsis for Dragon and Flower, Princess Eleanor becomes commander of the Holy Dragon Knights despite having no achievements. Her appointment sparks immediate opposition, and nearly half the existing knights leave in protest.
Adolphus, known as the “Ice Sword,” becomes her vice commander. He kneels before the now-isolated princess and promises unwavering loyalty.
Watanabe began the adaptation on Square Enix’s Gangan Online in July 2024. Its third collected volume shipped in February 2025. The manga adapts Yūna Asana’s light novel series, illustrated by SNC.
I Was Sacrificed to a Vampire, But He Spoils Me Instead! follows Lumina, a humble church servant. Every few decades, humans must offer a girl to the vampires. Lumina is selected instead of the local lord’s daughter.
Wanting to repay the church that brought her up, she willingly visits vampire Marquis Varnox’s estate. Instead of suffering, she receives an appetizing feast, an elegant room, and a warm bed.
Although Lumina grew up hearing that vampires were merciless and cruel, Varnox treats her with unexpected kindness. He invites her to request anything she needs and promises she will never face hardship again, leaving her wondering whether she was meant as a sacrifice.
Manga UP! Global presents the story as a comforting, tender romantic fantasy. Its kind vampire and unlucky heroine have vastly different expectations.
The manga debuted on Square Enix’s Manga UP! in September 2025. Its second volume shipped on June 5.
Wildcard Alchemist follows Iluto, whom the toxic guild Dragnate abruptly expels after recruiting him. The guild dismisses him as a useless alchemist who produces junk—a decision the synopsis frames as its greatest mistake.
Working alone, Iluto enters a forest to survey monsters. There, he encounters Noir, the fluffy divine beast that gave him the “Random Alchemy” skill.
Several nations covet Noir. Iluto gains worldwide recognition through his divine skill, exceptional mana control, and friendly nature, which wins over even elves.
Meanwhile, Dragnate falls apart as it struggles to replace him. Iluto begins assembling his ideal guild alongside a beautiful elf girl and the fluffy divine beast.
Square Enix shipped Wildcard Alchemist’s third volume on June 5.
