Amasian TV Adds Free Streaming for Seasons 2 and 3 of Hyakusho Kizoku
U.S. viewers can watch both seasons on demand with Japanese audio and English subtitles, without a subscription.

Amasian TV confirmed Tuesday that it is streaming the second and third seasons of Hyakusho Kizoku-the farmer's days for free. The anime adapts Hiromu Arakawa's autobiographical farming manga.
ODK Media's North American platform Amasian TV confirmed Tuesday that it now streams seasons two and three of Hyakusho Kizoku-the farmer's days in the United States. Both are free on demand, with Japanese audio and English subtitles, and require no subscription.
The television anime adapts Hiromu Arakawa's autobiographical manga The Peasant Noble (Hyakushō Kizoku). RetroCrush streams the anime's first season.
Amasian TV previously announced plans to stream Gunma-chan in the coming months. All these streams are offered through a partnership with Japan International Broadcasting.
The third season began on October 3 and concluded on December 19. A fourth season is on the way.
The first season debuted on Tokyo MX in July 2023, with each episode running four minutes. In December 2023, the manga's eighth volume included a DVD containing all 12 broadcast episodes and two episodes that had not aired.
The manga recounts the seven years Arakawa spent farming in Hokkaido before becoming a manga creator. That experience later shaped Silver Spoon, her manga about students at an agricultural school.
Arakawa began the manga in Shinshokan's Unpoko magazine in 2006. It transferred to the publisher's Wings magazine in 2009 after Unpoko stopped publishing, and its serialization continues on an irregular schedule.
Shinshokan released the seventh collected volume in October 2021. JManga previously published the manga in English.
Arakawa's other works include:
- Fullmetal Alchemist
- The Heroic Legend of Arslân
- Daemons of the Shadow Realm
Amasian TV is a free North American streaming service offering anime, Korean dramas, Chinese films, Asian news, sports, documentaries and other content. It began streaming Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood for free in March.
