Jujutsu Kaisen Rumble: Survivaton Moves Its Release to 2027

Staff for Shueisha Games and poncle's Jujutsu Kaisen Rumble: Survivaton announced Tuesday that the game will now arrive in 2027. They said the delay would help them deliver a satisfying game.

A second trailer revealed the new release year. Previously scheduled for this year, the game will launch on:

• Nintendo Switch 2
• PlayStation 5
• Xbox Series X|S
• PC via Steam

The survivor royale action game supports 1–8 players and offers more than 20 playable characters from the series. Characters can use their signature abilities and Domain Expansions.

Players compete to earn points by fighting cursed spirits. Matches feature randomized skills and “Rule Additions” modeled after the series' Culling Game.

The anime's latest installment, Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3: The Culling Game Part 1, began January 8. The third season's first part debuted with two episodes packaged as a one-hour special.

It premiered on the “Super Animeism TURBO” block on MBS, TBS, and their affiliates. Crunchyroll is streaming it worldwide outside Asia. The part concluded March 26 with an extended, 27-minute episode.

Earlier anime releases include:

• The first Jujutsu Kaisen television season premiered in October 2020 and ran for 24 episodes.
• Jujutsu Kaisen 0 opened in Japanese theaters in December 2021. It reached the U.S. and Canada in March 2022 with English-subtitled and English-dubbed screenings. Revival screenings followed in five Japanese cities in October 2025.
• Season two premiered in July 2023 on MBS, TBS, and 28 affiliated channels. It ran continuously for two cours, or half a year. Crunchyroll streamed episodes as they aired in Japan and also offered an English dub.

Gege Akutami began the manga in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump in March 2018 and finished it in September 2024. Viz Media publishes digital and print editions, while Shueisha also releases it digitally through MANGA Plus.
