KOJIRO’s Ura-Tokyo: Exorcist City will conclude in the next issue of Kodansha’s Weekly Shōnen Magazine on September 24. The magazine announced the ending Wednesday in its 42nd issue of the year.

K MANGA publishes the series in English. The manga debuted there on March 17, the same day KOJIRO launched it in Weekly Shōnen Magazine. Kodansha shipped its second collected volume on August 17.

The story takes place in Ura-Tokyo, a hidden, shadowy counterpart beneath familiar Tokyo. A secret academy there prepares exorcists to fight evil spirits.

Soma Kuroniwa enters a forbidden grove in Madara Shirazunomori Forest and receives a curse that forces him to carry an exceptionally dangerous spirit. He conceals his condition and joins the academy, committing himself to harsh training that only a few percent of students graduate from.

When a powerful spirit approaches, the inhuman power dormant within Soma awakens. K MANGA describes the premise as an action-focused exorcist academy tale unfolding in a dark, immersive setting.
