Tappytoon publishes the series. Pocket Comics previously released it in English before the service closed.
Pocket Comics’ synopsis follows Rua, a saintess candidate whose healing power transfers other people’s wounds onto her own body. Others bully her as the “Fallen Saintess,” but she takes comfort in her best friend Arianne always defending her.
When a beast attack leaves her crush, Commander Garrett, near death, Rua heals him and nearly dies herself. Upon waking, she discovers Arianne received all the credit, exposing her best friend’s true nature.
Devastated and helpless, Rua encounters the second prince, who presents a tempting offer. The story follows her new life as a villainess.
The webtoon runs on comico in Japan. It launched in August 2022, followed by its English release in October 2022.
The main story concluded in June 2025, with side-story chapters continuing afterward. In October 2025, the series announced an indefinite hiatus.
DNP led the development of the “light anime” concept to produce animation at lower cost and on a more timely schedule than traditional production methods.
