Kodansha’s K MANGA platform announced Wednesday that it has added Chihiro Kanisawa’s Oh My Panda! (Horeta Hareta Panda) as a simulpub title.
The company describes Hanna as an ordinary high school student with seemingly endless stamina who takes an unusual part-time job. She performs as Panboo, a beloved mascot and local hero.
Wearing a heavy panda costume, Hanna works to live up to Panboo’s role and protect the town, even when children play too roughly.
As she begins settling into the job, Hanna encounters Ubukata-kun, a boy from the neighboring class who nearly discovers her identity. The romance follows whether he will uncover her secret and how long she can keep fooling him.
Kanisawa launched the manga in Kodansha’s Dessert magazine in November 2025. Kodansha shipped its second compiled volume on September 11.
