Story of Seasons Gets Controller-Free VR Farming Game for Spring 2027
Marvelous and Grounding will bring Your Wonderful Life to Meta VR Glasses, Meta Quest 3, and Meta Quest 3s.
Marvelous announced Story of Seasons: Your Wonderful Life, a VR game based on A Wonderful Life. Arriving in spring 2027, it offers controller-free farming and new cow-milking and sheep-shearing minigames.
Marvelous announced Story of Seasons: Your Wonderful Life on Thursday and released a trailer. The virtual reality game draws on its farming life simulation Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life.
Marvelous and Grounding will release the game in spring 2027 for:
- Meta VR Glasses
- Meta Quest 3
- Meta Quest 3s
Players can water crops, care for animals, and handle other farm tasks virtually without a controller. New minigames let them milk cows and shear sheep.
XSEED Games released a remake of the original 2003 GameCube game in June 2023 for:
- Nintendo Switch
- PlayStation 5
- Xbox Series X|S
- PC via Steam
A Wonderful Life first arrived on Nintendo GameCube in Japan in September 2003, followed by North America in March 2004. Natsume published it as Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life.
XSEED Games took over the franchise’s releases in 2015 and cannot use Natsume’s Harvest Moon name.
Marvelous also recently teased another new Story of Seasons game.
The Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar remake arrived in August 2025 on:
- Nintendo Switch
- Nintendo Switch 2
- PC via Steam
It followed on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S on May 28.
Grand Bazaar originally debuted on Nintendo DS in Japan in 2008. Natsume released the English version in 2010 as Harvest Moon DS: Grand Bazaar.
