REMOW’s synopsis follows high school student Ageha Yoshina, who discovers a mysterious “red phone card” someone left in a public telephone booth. Days later, his childhood friend and classmate Sakurako Amamiya disappears without a trace. She had an identical card.
While searching for Sakurako, Ageha becomes entangled in rumors about mysterious disappearances across the country. A secret organization called “Psyren” is said to be responsible. Contacting the group draws him into a deadly game that will forever alter his fate.
REMOW said the anime will adapt the entire manga, including its ending.
Iwashiro’s Psyren ran in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump from 2007 to 2010. Viz Media published all 16 volumes in English between 2011 and 2014.
