Kadokawa announced on Friday that Chizuna Nakajima's Where is the Elf Teacher's Toilet? (Elf-Sensei no Toire wa Doko Desu ka?) will receive a television anime adaptation. Nakajima created an illustration celebrating the announcement.
The manga will resume serialization on Saturday. Nakajima began the series in Kadokawa's Comic Cune magazine in January 2024.
Kadokawa released its first compiled volume in July 2024. The second followed in February 2025.
The story follows Eruru, an elf trainee teacher who arrives from another world. She discovers that she can relieve herself only in a lush forest.
Nakajima's earlier manga The Bicycle Lady (Jitensha no Onee-san) ran in Comic Cune from September 2019 to September 2020. Kadokawa collected it in two volumes.
Nakajima also started the comedy manga Angel's Drop (Tenshi no Drop) on Holp Shuppan's Flex Comix Blood site in 2011. When the site closed a year later, the series moved to the Comic Meteor website.
Angel's Drop concluded in December 2013. It also received a television anime special in 2013, directed by Kōji Itō and produced by anime studio AIC Frontier.
