Ai learns that Yasuno-sensei, her longtime favorite manga creator and a recluse, will make a rare appearance at Comitia. She immediately decides to meet her hero.

That choice sparks encounters that upend her ideas about art, genius, and the meaning of creating.

Toyoda, whose works include Love Roma, began the manga in Shogakukan’s Monthly Shonen Sunday in November 2021. It also runs on Sunday Webry. The ninth collected volume shipped June 12.

The manga’s honors include:

  • The 16th Manga Taisho award in 2023
  • Sixth place among manga for male readers in the 2023 edition of Takarajimasha’s Kono Manga ga Sugoi! (This Manga is Amazing!) guidebook
