Katsura Ise and Takuma Yokota will launch a short miniseries following their Magic: The Gathering manga. The four chapters will appear irregularly, starting October 26.

Kadokawa's Monthly Shōnen Ace announced in its November issue on Saturday that Katsura Ise and Takuma Yokota will launch a new manga miniseries. It begins in the magazine's December issue, due October 26.

The follow-up is titled Destroy All Humans. They Can't Be Regenerated. -Timeshift- (Subete no Jinrui o Hakai suru. Sorera wa Saisei Dekinai. -Timeshift-). Ise confirmed on X, formerly Twitter, that the short limited series will span four chapters published irregularly in the magazine.

Their main series, Destroy All Humans. They Can't Be Regenerated. A Magic: The Gathering Manga (Subete no Jinrui o Hakai suru. Sorera wa Saisei Dekinai.), is based on the Magic: The Gathering trading card game. Viz Media publishes it in English.

Viz's synopsis takes readers to Magic: The Gathering's early years in the 1990s, when the game's arrival changes life for gamers such as Hajime Kano. The geeky Tokiwagi Middle School student seems to finish behind popular honor student Emi Sawatari in everything he attempts.

Their rivalry takes an unexpected turn when Hajime visits a new game store he has heard about. The story follows the beginnings of a trading card game that would leave a lasting mark on a generation.

The manga debuted as a one-shot in Monthly Shōnen Ace in August 2018, then began serialization there in November 2018. Wizards of the Coast LLC. receives a cooperation credit.

Serialization ended in April 2025. Kadokawa shipped the 18th and final volume in June 2025.
