Mozukuzu Begins Manga About a Fox-Eared Shrine Maiden in Another World
The adaptation of Mizuho Itsuki and risumi's novel debuted Monday in the 157th issue of Kadokawa's Dengeki Daioh G.

Mozukuzu launched a manga adaptation of Mizuho Itsuki and risumi's fantasy novel about Suzuka Mimori, a shrine maiden tasked with restoring worship of a forgotten god.
Mozukuzu's new manga debuted Monday in the 157th issue of Kadokawa's Dengeki Daioh G magazine. It adapts a novel written by Mizuho Itsuki and illustrated by risumi.
The work is titled The story of a shrine maiden with animal ears reviving a shrine in another world: I'm Troubled by Being Worshipped Too Much Because of the Miraculous Power a God Gave Me (Kemomimi Miko no Isekai Jinja Saikō-ki: Kami-sama ga Kureta Kiseki no Chikara no sei de Matsurare Sugite Komattemasu).
The story follows Suzuka Mimori, a high school student who serves as a shrine maiden at her family's shrine. A mysterious vortex sweeps her into another world, where she receives a letter from the enshrined deity.
Once revered as a divine beast, the now-forgotten god asks Suzuka to become its shrine maiden and bring back worshippers. To help, it grants her a mysterious power to perform miracles, along with fox ears and a tail—perhaps reflecting the god's preferences.
Kadokawa released the original novel in September 2024. Itsuki also wrote the Management of a Novice Alchemist light novel.
Mozukuzu previously adapted Ryūichi Suzuki's Dungeon Farm: Kicked Out of My Home, So I'm Homesteading in a Dungeon! light novel series. That manga began on Square Enix's Gangan Online website in August 2023.
The adaptation concluded with its fourth collected volume, which shipped in October 2025. Square Enix's Manga UP! Global service released the manga digitally in English.
