Shonen Jump+ is ending outsourced services from former Shueisha editor Shihei Lin’s Mix Green. Titles he handled will continue serialization under a new structure, while Mix Green will retain editorial duties on four manga.

Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ editorial department announced Wednesday that it is ending its outsourcing of services to former Chainsaw Man editor Shihei Lin’s company, Mix Green.

The department said Jump+ titles Lin had worked on would continue serialization under a new structure.

Lin responded on X/Twitter the same day, saying Mix Green had signed direct contracts to continue handling editorial duties for four manga:

  • Tatsuya Endō’s SPY×FAMILY
  • Yukinobu Tatsu’s Dandadan
  • Tohru Kuramori’s Centuria
  • Hakuri’s WITCHRIV

Lin launched Mix Green’s new manga platform on April 17. It began accepting manga submissions from artists that day.

Lin joined Shueisha as an editor in 2006 and left in August 2022. He then continued working as a freelance editor with artists whose work he had edited.

His editorial work at Shueisha included many titles, among them:

  • Chainsaw Man
  • SPY×FAMILY
  • Dandadan

He discussed his work on these series with Anime News Network.
